Traffic Division

The Traffic Division of the Rolling Fork Police Department enforces traffic laws within the City of Rolling Fork, including issuing citations for moving violations. Citations will identify the alleged violation and, in some instances, may be eligible for payment without a court appearance. When a citation is eligible for pre-payment, it will typically include instructions and applicable payment information.

If you choose to pay a pre-payable citation, please note that payment is generally

treated as a plea of guilty or no contest (depending on court procedures) and may waive your right to contest the charge. If the citation is not pre-payable, or if you wish to contest the charge, you must appear in court as instructed on the citation for arraignment or the hearing date and time listed. Failure to appear may result in additional penalties, including the issuance of a bench warrant.

Payments are made through the Rolling Fork Municipal Court in accordance with the instructions on your citation. You may also be able to mail payment using the address printed on the citation, if permitted.
