Detective Division
The Detective Division of the Rolling Fork Police Department is made up of dedicated men and women who investigate serious crimes where follow-up investigation is required to identify suspects, develop leads, and gather additional information after an initial police report is filed. These investigations may include offenses such as homicide, theft, kidnapping, and other major crimes.
After a report is taken, a detective may be assigned to the case and will take responsibility for advancing the investigation—collecting and reviewing evidence,
interviewing witnesses and suspects, coordinating with other agencies when necessary, and completing other investigative steps aimed at resolving the matter.
