Crime Scene Division
The Crime Scene Division of the Rolling Fork Police Department is made up of specially trained personnel who focus on the examination of technical and scientific evidence, including firearms-related evidence, fingerprints, and bloodstain patterns. These specialists support other divisions by providing technical expertise in the proper identification, collection, preservation, and analysis of evidence.
Crime Scene personnel analyze a wide range of materials—from hair and biological samples to bullets and firearm-related evidence—to help develop investigative leads

and provide insight into specific incidents. They may also be called upon to appear in court to explain forensic findings and to testify regarding the nature, reliability, and significance of scientific data and evidence.
Crime Scene specialists work out of the Rolling Fork Police Department’s main offices. For more information about how the Crime Scene Division serves the community, please contact the Rolling Fork Police Department during normal business hours, Monday through Friday, or call the Department’s non-emergency line.
