There are many ways you can help improve the quality of service the City of Rolling Fork provides to you, your family, and your business. While public meetings, hearings, and community discussions are excellent places to offer suggestions or raise concerns on a broad scale, the most effective communication is often directly with the City department or program responsible for the issue.
The City of Rolling Fork has established an Action Line and Help Desk. Residents can call our central number, (601) 873-2814, to report problems, express concerns, share suggestions, or request information. Never before have the citizens of Rolling Fork had such direct access to their local government. All calls—except for simple transfers—are logged and tracked in a work order database. Work orders are forwarded to the appropriate department for action. If a caller needs more specific information, the call is transferred to the appropriate department.
Action Line staff monitors the system for items that are not completed in a timely manner and follows up to determine the status and disposition of those requests. This system helps the City provide more efficient services, gives residents a single point of contact when they are unsure which department to call, and helps ensure that problems do not fall through the cracks.
